Project: Access improvement works.

R & S Builders Ltd were appointed by the Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames, as principal contractor, to improve the DDA (Disability and Discrimination Act) access arrangements for Surbiton Library.

The Library was in full usage by the public and staff throughout the works. Access ramps were constructed to improve access. A platform lift was installed together with refurbishments to all public toilets, communal kitchen and public areas.
